PT. Lumbung Ikan Maluku is an Indonesian tuna processing company operating with an integrated upstream-downstream supply chain.
We source, process, and deliver yellowfin tuna products directly from Maluku to domestic and international buyers. As a direct principal supplier, we manage the supply chain end-to-end — from fishermen partnerships and processing facilities to quality control and export delivery — ensuring product consistency, traceability, and compliance with international food safety standards.
Our operations are built on responsible sourcing, strong supply chain management, and long-term partnerships, enabling reliable supply, competitive pricing, and scalable production for global markets.
How We Operate
Responsible sourcing
Tuna is sourced directly from local fishermen in Maluku and through certified collection points. Upon landing, fish are weighed and handled under strict hygiene practices to preserve freshness and quality.
Processing & preparation
Raw materials are cleaned, trimmed, and processed at our facilities according to product specifications, ensuring consistency and food safety at every stage.
Cold chain & preservation
Products are preserved using Air Blast Freezer (ABF) and/or Contact Plate Freezer (CPF) systems. The cold chain is maintained continuously to protect product integrity.
Quality control & export readiness
Quality is monitored through in-house laboratory testing. Finished products are prepared for domestic distribution or export in compliance with international food safety and traceability requirements.
Fishing operations are conducted within Indonesia’s regulated Fisheries Management Areas, including 714 (Banda Sea) and FMA 715 (Ceram Sea).
